Although I do accept custom orders, the majority of the work
represented here was sold through ebay.
If you're wanting to know the hows and whytofores of my
customizing, I use any and everything I get my hands on that will work.
So far I've used straight acrylics, acrylics with pencil detailing,
pastels...make-up(!) What ever works. I carve out ears and
nostrils. If hooves are raised, they get worked on too. I remove
seams. I remove excessive plastic (several old stablemates come to
mind). I add details that have vanished over the years. I do an
occasional reposition - not too many though. I have painted a bit in
oils, but not much.Ý Iíve also recently
purchased a handy dandy new airbrush so stay tuned.
Repositioning..... Not really a favorite of mine. If you
have your heart set on a repositioned critter, let me know what you have
in mind. When I get in "one of those moods", I'll reposition,
prep, and prime and send you a picture for approval, along with a price.
(this way, you won't feel you have paid good money for something that might
take forever for me to do, and I won't feel pressured and botch the thing, nor
(hopefully) will I end up charging peanuts to turn an old mold Arab stallion
into a cross-cantering Lipizzaner ;-D )
Someone informed me that I forgot to tell who I am. Doh
